apron
When I made Mo her futon bag, I picked Ultraman Max patterned cloth for Holly, too.
His Snoopy apron is too small for him, so I decided to make an apron for him.
As soon as he found that Ultraman Max cloth, he was overjoy. "When will you start making it, Mom? Now?"
He kept asking.
Finally I had some time tonight.
I even put two pockets with left over ultraman cloth.
One thing is done! Yay. I feel so much better.

chicken pox
Last night I looked at Holly's back when he was undressing before taking a bath. There were about 15 tiny bumps.
With a closer look, I found 2 bumps on his face, one on his neck, and some on his legs, thigh, and arms.
He had no fever, and ate well....
One girl in his class got chicken pox last week......
Yes, Holly got it too.
Luckily he was vaccinated so his symptom is not severe at all.
The doc says it might heal within 5 days. Another 5 more days stuck at home!!!
Well guess better than 7 days or longer....
One concern is whether Mo is infected or not....
I am crossing my fingers!!!
Now, he is taking a nap. ZZZZZZZZZZ

Spring break
Holly's nursery school is closed for 2 days.
It will be too hectic to spend 2 days with him and Mo, so we asked some friends to come over to play this morning.
3 girls, 2 boys, a baby and some moms.
Moms chatted over some sweets, coffee, and tea. Kids put out all the toys and played.
We had so much fun. Kids didn't want to leave!
Time passed so quick with friends.
Thanks for coming over, and let's get together again soon!!!

Futon Bag
Starting this April, Mo will go to nursery school.
It was so sudden that the decision was made, thus we didn't have much time to prepare.
With in a couple of weeks, I guess I did well. So far so good.
Her towels, basket, clothes, tooth brush set (Mo has no teeth yet!), and so on...
One last thing missing was her Futon Bag.
For 2 good hours, I struggled with my sewing machine and iron last night.
I made her bag!
I miscalculated the size, so it is a bit tight. But no one can tell it.
One more week till school starts!

Neat boy
It was 8:30 at night.
Out of blue, Holly claimed "I'm going to clean our room!" He picked a cleaning cloth and started wiping the living room floor. But, the cloth was so drenched and daddy had to dry the floor with a dried cloth.
Holly was humming and cleaning. He wiped the living room floor and went on to do the same in his room, the kitchen, and the hallway. Then he started cleaning doors and walls.
"We do cleaning at nursery school, too! I'm so good at it! All the rooms are now so cleaned, aren't they?"
He smiled and said proudly.
He says he will clean the rooms tonight again.....

konpeito

This morning, I took Holly to a dermatologist in Naze. He's got a BIG wart (いぼ) on his right ring finger.
After his treatment, we went to Tokyo-Do.
Holly wanted to get some star shaped colorful sugar candy from the candy stocker.
He put 100 yen coin in the slot and turned the handle around, then voila! He got a cupful of sugar candy!
The cup doesn't come with a lid. So, I put the opened cup in my bag and told him to eat it in the car.
At the parking lot, I handed the cup to Holly so that I can get my wallet from my bag to pay for the parking fee.
It was only 5m to our car.
Holly was very careful to carry the cup. Yes, he was, indeed. But, he tripped over and spread out all the candy on the asphalt ground!
He was so in shock. He cried and cried in the car.

Mo & Pooh

Mo, my daughter is 8 months old.
Now she can sit on her own and she just started crawling.
With her smile, she is loved by our neighbors so much.
We appreciate deeply their love and kindness.
Yesterday, she got this Winne the Pooh! Almost same size as Mo.
Our neighbor saw Mo on the street and said "My daughter has a stuffed animal, Pooh, just same size as the baby. Let me get it from my house!" Then she ran to her house to get the Pooh and gave it to Mo.
Her daughter graduated from high school this month, and now it's time to give away some stuffed animals, according to our neighbor.
Mo is a lucky one to receive this Pooh! We will take a good care of him.
Thank you!
