My hubby's parents will be coming to Amami tomorrow.
Thanks to the direct flight from Fukuoka, they decided to come down here for a visit!!!
They have two dogs at home, so it is so rare that they travel together.

I am running and running to get ready for tomorrow.
Grocery shopping, cleaning, and making futon sets for them.....

Holly is so excited to see them!!!  

"Bring your bowl, will you?" My neighbor called me up on my cell phone and said. It was around 8pm tonight.
Her husband just came back from fishing. It was his lucky night.

My neighbor looked at me and said, "You brought that small bowl????"
(Well, I didn't want to look too greedy so I chose a rather smaller bowl, Nee-san....)

She was going to give me a big fish, though instead, she gave me some smaller sized ones.

It turns out to be another blessed day for us.

Rainy season has come in Amami.
Rained, rained, and rained since last night.
It was such a heavy rain, so couldn't hang the laundry on the wood deck.

Clothes hung in the living room are not dried yet.....

Sticky and cloudy days are here. Just a set back for a while before shiny and bright season reaches us!!
